A trend on the west coast that has been around a couple of years that is starting to catch on in the east is decorating with feathers. It’s a new and sophisticated way brides are adding the WOW factor in their wedding. Your wedding will be the topic of conversation long after it’s over, in a good way, if you add some flair with feathers. I must admit when I first heard of the concept, tacky was an initial thought. You might be thinking the same thing, but after this post I’m sure some of you might be having some additions to the decor of your wedding. It also might be more economical than flowers.

After I began looking at the centerpieces my mind took flight at all the designs that could be embellished with feathers. From bouquets to boutonnieres, you can look fabulous with feathers. I truly was in love with some of the dresses I saw. I’m feeling a little obsessed with this. I’ve just spent an hour looking at pictures and trying to think of a reason to renew my vows for the third time (I haven’t even been married ten years yet).
