Destination weddings remain extremely popular because they are exotic and provide a vacation for the newlyweds as well as the guests. The bride and groom can choose their favorite location, the one that gives them the most joy and comfort, to marry the love of their life. They also give insight to the guests as to their style, personality, and preferences by letting them see their preferred place of peace.

Scenery is one of the main positives to having a destination wedding. You get something that easily sets the mood and tone of the wedding that is impossible to get in your own home town and that can make or break your wedding.

Most destination weddings take the guests to a tropical paradise complete with white sand beaches, crystal blue water, and mini umbrellas in every drink.

Don’t feel like you have to stick with the setting of a beach for your destination wedding. If you and your significant other are more interested in other landscapes embrace that instead. It’s your wedding so make it what you love.

One thing to take into consideration is how much your guests have gone through in order to attend your destination wedding. Travel costs, hotels, and even passports costs may be present and they will add up fast to your guests. Show your appreciation of their commitment to be there on your special day with Welcome Bags complete with things they may need in this faraway place.

Because the cost can be great to your guests, it is often recommended to have only the most important people attending your wedding. If you aren’t willing to make the effort to go to a coworker’s destination wedding they probably feel the same way so a wedding announcement may be a better route.

A destination wedding is a great opportunity to have fun with your dress. A shorter dress can be more appropriate than a bigger ballgown in this case so have fun with it.

While red is associated with fiery heat, orange is associated with the benign warmth of the sun. A dynamic color to be sure, orange offers a more thoughtful control than explosive red. Curiosity is a driving characteristic of orange, and with it comes exploration of new things.

Put some orange in your life when you want to spice things up when you feel time is dragging; to become more involved in something; to increase creativity; relief from things becoming too serious.

Though orange is vibrant, it has a bit less intensity or aggression than red, calmed by the cheerfulness of yellow. Pumpkin, gold, flame, copper, brass, apricot, peach, citrus, tangerine  and vermilion are all terms used to describe different shades of orange.

How to mix match orange with other colors

While orange and black are traditional Halloween colors, orange really pops with a medium blue. Red, yellow and orange can be a fiery hot combination or a fresh, fruity experience in softer shades. Make orange tropical with green.

Use caution mixing orange and pink, unless you want to recreate a vibrating 60’s psychedelic look. Try a dash of orange with deep purple or a dash of purple with a bit of orange, tempered by lots of mellow yellow or white for an eye-catching look that’s not overpowering.

How to Bun according to TheBeautyDepartment.com

thebeautydepartment.com

Step 1:

If your hair is straight, use a 1″ curling iron to curl everything under. This will make it easier to tuck pieces into the bun. When they’re straight, they tend to pop out more. If you have wave or curl you can skip this step if you want to.

Step 2:

Flip your hair over and gather everything into a ponytail on top of you head, securing it with an elastic ponytail holder.

Step 3:

On the last time around with the ponytail holder, only pull the ponytail through half way.

Step 4:

Take the loop you’ve created and spread it out. Don’t over think it. Just widen it and allow it to be somewhat messy.

Step 5:

Take the tail end and wrap it around the ponytail base.

Step 6:

Pin the end of the ponytail to the base using a couple of hair pins/bobby pins.

Step 7:

Gently pull on pieces and then pin them. This will give your top-knot a slightly more messy texture.

Step 8:

Spray a veil of medium hold hairspray all over. Don’t smooth down all of the fly aways; just lightly tuck the pieces that have gone rogue.
